title:{New Year Resolution}

It's been a long long time since I last blogged. 2010 will be an exciting year for Iain and I; our customary wedding. Gosh... I really need to slim down real fast for our photo shoot and wedding. Nevertheless, it goes right down to our diet and thanks to our parents who have been feeding us non-stop. Ha ha....

Guess it's time to be diligence in doing facial treatment, slimming program, work out program. I have been stop going to gym for a long time even though there's a gym at our rented condo. I shall have no excuse to swim everyday since there a pool available and it's rather silly not to make use of these facilities to facilitate my slimming program.

Mum, Siva and Jessie commented that I start to look aged and it's time for me to do about it. Hopefully, the collogen drink will help.

2010 resolution is pretty much similar to 2008 and 2009.
  1. Driving license-I'm just so lazy to get it done.
  2. Slimming down to 43kg. Hopefully.. keeping my finger cross.
  3. Work harder and put in more effort in my studies. In fact, I was so tired that I gave up my last question, answering it effortlessly during my exam. May be I could have gotten a grade higher.
  4. Save more $. This is definitely a thing that I must do. Financial management which I'm so suck in it.
  5. Be a more loving and understanding wife. Probably going gym with Iain more often.
  6. Most importantly, spend more time with God. I really need to grow more closer to God as I'm kinda of lacking due to the tight schedule in work.
  7. Work smart and hard...Aiming for promotion in 2 years time.
  8. Eat plenty of fruits for lunch and skip dinner if possible
  9. To be more tolerating and forgiving towards my MIL at times.

title:{One more month to go......}

This has been a very exciting month for Iain and me. Firstly, it's the June holidays and we are preparing our wedding preparation. Hopefully, we need not to go back to school next week except Monday for closing the account for this term. I dread doing accounts and I don't know why I am selected to be treasurer. Haha... Especially for someone who has no finance management skills even though I'm a business graduated. :p

Anyway, I've managed to survive through my first year of my bond with MOE. Phew... time really flies fast and I'm accepted for my 2nd degree course. Hmmm.... seems like I can never stop studying and only to realise that I've only stop studying for a year in my whole entire life! Gosh... Unbelievable! I really wonder when I will stop studying. Haha... probably Master follow by PHD??? Guess that Iain and I have to do some planning for our studies as he may want to pursue his Master.

Getting late... Time to go to bed and prepare for tomorrow Sexuality Education Course for Primary Education. Hey, don't think otherwise! All thank to AWARE lor... What to do...... have to BEWARE!*sigh*

title:{Trust in the Lord}

Had a great chat with Mrs. Lim and was greatly encouraged by her.

I realised that my faith in God is so tiny and my walk with God is backslided. Work has taken up almost all of my life and time. It's totally overwhelming and choking up to the bottleneck. At times, I felt I'm so distant away from God and unable to sense His presence. After chatting with Mrs. Lim, I reflected upon our conversation. I've too little faith in God and does not trust Him wholeheartedly. I'm always doing things by my ways but not His.

'Trust in the Lord and have faith in Him. For He is always in good hand. Pray!" I shall always keep this in mind.

Have been busy with marking, setting paper and endless catching up with time to finish up the syllabus. Finally, a long weekend to catch up with my work and outstanding marking. Taking my own pace, cleaning up my pig sty. Hee hee... Finally, I can see walking space and seating space.

Just realised that we need to prepare lot of things for our wedding and looking for helper isn't as easy as what I think. :( I need to find church musician to play music and back singer. Oh my... who to find??????? Han and Gina will not be able to make it. Sad! Kinda of start feeling stress... oh no...

title:{YEAH!!! We've won!}

Hip, hip, hurray! After 2 months of hard work and training, 22nd and 68th Girls Brigade Coy has won silver for creative drill competition! All thank to Sarah and Faith who has been training the girls hard for months. Karen, who always there by my side, struggling through with me. How could I forget my hubby who faithfully drives me back to school on every Saturday for training in school and also in GB center. My 22nd coy bao bei, thank you for putting in the hard work. Most importantly, is our wonderful Lord! Thank God for all His blessing and love for our coy. Despite the fact that our girls committed a couple of mistakes, He carried us through the competition and bless Deborah with strength to complete the drill competition. Thank God for speedy healing for Deborah who almost fainted just before we were about to get ready for our competition. Praise the Lord for blessing us this silver award from COP to what we have this year! Hallelujah!
WELL DONE, GIRLS!

title:{Surpise!!!!}

Yesterday, Dear was so sweet, bought me a ipod touch to surprise me! Awww....... I never thought that he would buy it for me cos he knew that I'm going to buy it next month. Sweet! Dear is so thoughtful and cleverly planned everything without me knowing. First he sent me for Marie France bodyline for slimming then he went to Cinieleisure to purchase it. Then, he put it into my bag, stuff it with the worksheets. Haha... I was wondering since when did my bag turn so bulky and why was there a orange JBL earphone box. Haha.. I was caught in surprise and squeaked in excitement. Ha ha... you could imagine how happy I was at that very moment.

In fact, all the while I wanted to have a PDA phone even though that I know PDA and Phone system doesn't really synchronise. Later, Kumar introduced us his ipod touch which was pretty cool. Dear bought it using the LDS fund, while I use it to buy quickurt revo tool. Ha ha.... so much into scrap booking.

After seeing Iain having so much fun and convenient with his ipod touch, I was kinda of tempted to buy one. I really love it's notes, calendar application cos I always misplaced my notebooks and papers. In fact, I lost 3 notebooks since I've started working for the past 6 months. On average, I lost 1 notebook on every 3 months. Ke ke...I was "in debt" with my credit card, am pretty broke this month. Dear bought it for me as an early anniversary present!

Hopefully, I can be more organized with the schedule applications.

title:{V-day celebration}

Ever since the school term started in Jan, Iain and I have been working continuously at all times, including Chinese New Year. Sounded depressing huh. Not much of a choice, I reckon.

Yesterday was a mad rush day for us. We started work at 8am (even though, it's Saturday), We went back to school to oversee the Boys' and Girls' Brigade training for the upcoming competitions. In fact, we were busy decorating our classroom and to ensure all pins up were tightly secured. So much of last min work, just for the CDA team.

We spend our afternoon babysitting Evangelyn since Dorothy won't be home after 2pm. I can't leave Evangelyn in school, so I brought her Sembangwan shopping center for sushi lunch. Glad that she was so happy!

Iain and I headed to GB Headquarters to submit the BOTC application. Hippie.... I'm going to be a GB officer, serving God in the marketplace.

Finally, we managed to get home for a rest and have meet up for dinner at my favourite restaurant, Korean BBQ Chicken. Walked around Orchard and headed home to do marking. Instead of marking, we ended up dozing off on our bed, leaving our hot tea on the table.

I reckon that life is such especially when you are a teacher. Hmmm...... recently, I have been seeing Mrs Lim, my principle and Ariel appearing in my dreams lately for the past few days. I think I'm over stressed. Ha ha....... Got to continue my marking marathon.
