title:{Weekend getaway......}

Just had a weekend getaway yesterday at Fairmont hotel. Anyway, the hotel is free since it's prepaid by my father. Ho ho ho...... Checked in the room the at 2pm and sat on the bed watching National Geographic and Discovery Channel. Iain and I were simply stuck in the box and couldn't move our butt.

We also went to do shopping and got some great deals. Iain bought a suit for $69 whereby the original price is $369. Whoa... $300 bucks off! Worthy splurged! Got myself a little black dress from Robinson. Ke ke......

Later, we met up with our cell group at Mind Cafe and had a terrific gaming session. I realised that Iain is neither spatial nor auditory learner (cos he simply suck in those kind of games). Opps... Ha ha... anyway, he's very good in word guessing games... Guess that's SA boys forte-linguistic.

Checked out of the hotel and we had breakfast at Out of the Pan, my fav-Waffle!!! Drool... Darling had to make a sacrifice as he does not really fancy crepe and waffle. Awww... thanks dear for compromising.

After that, we decided to shop for DVD and bought "Dude, Where's my car?" We continued window shopping for furniture for our new home. Found some good deals but it's too early to buy them as our not yet confirmed house will be ready in 3 years time. We were very sure that we'll definitely get our house in Bishan by faith.

Today was our first time that we took bus together as we sent our car to garage for touch up on paint work. Iain was not very used to it after he has been driving since living in Australia for the past 7 years. Journey back home from Liang Court was tedious and long as compared to driving.
Despite the long journey, we enjoyed ourselves very much for this weekend getaway.
