18 October 2008, a day which I will never forget. A day filled with lots of love and joy.
Janice and Eugene have finally tied their knots! I feel so happy for them. After being through so many hardship, alas, this couple have their hearts united as one.
Meet up with Zhen Qi, Sean, Jennifer and Mel for dinner to celebrate Jen's birthday. As well as introducing Iain to them. Mel and gang were happy for me as they can sense that Iain is the right one for me.
Iain was up to something in his sleeves and went 'toilet break' for 30 min in midst of dinner. Sean was sure that he went to get something for me. Speaking of devil, here comes the devil, Iain gave me a surprise which we have all anticipated. He proposed to me again. This time round was a more formal one, with a proposal ring and flower.
Went home and show mummy the proposal ring, mummy was so thrilled and happy for me. Mummy commented that she feels relieved that Iain is taking good care of me and our family. She's happy that her future son in law is a generous person who is willing to splurge on me.
Looking back, God has been gracious upon Iain and I. Iain was promoted early this month and had financial break through in the midst of financial crisis. The extra finance has relieved our finance burden in saving up for our wedding and house. As for me, God has blessed favour upon people in my work place. Siva has been trying to give me opportunities to perform in school. Although it was a small task, I've managed to get things done and build some rapport with my P. Ariel, my supervisor, has been pushing me hard and get me going. Thought of it, her high standard demands have help me to handle things better. My EPMS is almost done and things are flowing well. I have no worries about rushing my year end EPMS. All thanks to God for all the goodness and blessing in life, Amen.
Here's the picture of my proposal ring, which my hubby spent his hard earned money on.
